$17.13 - $22.50/hour (based on experience) + tips Pop's Pizza & Pasta is a small, fast-paced neighborhood restaurant with a big heart and a tight-knit team — and we're looking for a dedicated, hardworking Cook to join our kitchen crew!

What We're Looking For:

We need someone who's comfortable in the kitchen, loves food, and is eager to learn. Knife skills are a big plus, but the most important thing to us is reliability . We need someone who shows up on time, ready to work, and who takes pride in being consistent and dependable. We take this seriously — we will contact your references to confirm reliability and past attendance habits. This role starts in the kitchen, prepping ingredients and cooking pizzas, salads, and other menu items. We're also looking for someone who's open to cross-training and learning how to cashier when ready.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook pizzas, pastas, salads, and other menu items to order Use knife skills to prep ingredients (chopping veggies, slicing meats, etc.) Maintain a clean and organized prep and cook station Follow food safety and sanitation standards Communicate with the team to ensure smooth service Be open to learning register/cashiering duties when the time comes

What You Bring:

Reliability — you show up on time, every time Basic knife skills and willingness to grow Positive attitude and strong communication Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen Valid food worker card (or ability to get one shortly after hiring)
