Circle of Friends Early Learning Center in Chippewa Falls is looking to hire a cook, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Days could possibly be negotiable. Position could be more hours if you have education and experience in a childcare setting.

Job duties:

Prepare meals and snacks for approximately 50 children and staff as noted on provided weekly menus, and clean-up after said meals/snacks. Maintain clean and sanitized kitchen and pantry. Food and sanitation training is preferred, but we would be willing to train the right candidate. Additional hours available to assist in classrooms to give staff breaks.

Requirements:

Experience preparing meals for a large number of people is preferred. Must enjoy working with children. Must attend or have attended a food handler's course. Must pass required background checks. Summary As a Daycare Cook, you will be essential in providing nutritious and appealing meals for children in our care. Reporting to the Childcare Director, you will utilize your core skills in food preparation, cooking, and food handling to create balanced menus that cater to dietary needs. Your experience in the food industry and culinary expertise will ensure high standards of food quality and safety. Additionally, your knowledge of menu planning and dietary department practices will enhance our meal offerings, fostering a healthy environment for our young learners.
