Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes, ensuring consistency and quality. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, knives, and other culinary tools. Maintain strict food safety standards by handling ingredients properly, practicing sanitation, and adhering to food safety protocols. Assist with menu planning and ingredient sourcing to support diverse dietary needs and preferences. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service delivery. Keep the kitchen clean by following cleaning schedules, sanitizing surfaces, and properly disposing of waste. Support catering events or special meal requests with professionalism and attention to detail. Experience Previous experience working in a food service environment such as restaurants, catering, or dietary departments is highly desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of food preparation techniques, including slicing, knife skills, and recipe adherence. Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Experience in meal preparation for large groups or institutional settings is a plus. Strong understanding of food safety management practices and sanitation standards. Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with kitchen staff and other team members. Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 45.0 per week
