Preparing and cooking meals according to established menus, recipes, and dietary requirements Ensuring meals are prepared and served in a timely manner Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste Following proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures Assisting with meal planning, food preparation, and special dietary needs as assigned Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and work environment Monitoring food supplies and communicating inventory or equipment needs Working collaboratively with the Dining Services team to provide an exceptional experience for residents Following all company policies, food safety standards, and applicable local and state regulations Has a passion for cooking and preparing quality meals Enjoys working with seniors and making a difference in their day Takes pride in their work and pays attention to quality and detail Understands the importance of food safety and sanitation Is dependable, organized, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Works well independently and as part of a team Has previous cooking or food service experience (preferred) ServSafe Certification Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
