Sourdough Nest by Viola in Afton is hiring a dependable, full-time line cook for a year-round position.

Pay:

$15-$18 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule:

Full-time with a consistent, predictable weekly schedule Our business hours are 7:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Shifts may begin around 6:30 a.m. or end around 4:30 p.m. We want this employee to have a dependable schedule that makes planning easier for both the employee and the bakery.

Main responsibilities include:

Preparing breakfast burritos and lunch sandwiches Having breakfast ingredients ready before opening Stocking lunch meats, cheeses, and sandwich ingredients before lunch service Keeping the grill, oven, and cook station ready and organized Preparing food neatly and consistently Properly storing and putting away lunch ingredients at closing Washing dishes and cleaning kitchen areas during slower periods Helping with labeling, packaging, inventory, dough, and other bakery prep as directed We are looking for someone who: Is dependable and arrives on time Works well with customers and coworkers Follows directions and established recipes Handles busy periods efficiently Keeps a clean and organized workspace Stays productive without needing constant direction Wants steady, year-round employment Kitchen or line-cook experience is helpful, but reliability, work ethic, and willingness to learn are equally important.
