Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes while following proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure a clean and sanitary work environment at all times
- Monitor food stock
- Requirements
- Prior experience in the food industry or culinary field is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, and grinders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
