Car Wash Attendant Responsibilities

• Build guest relationships and deliver VIP service through service, product and tunnel knowledge
• Monitor and manage tunnel traffic
• Perform visual inspections of the condition of each vehicle prior to entering wash tunnel
• Identify guest vehicle and compare wash services on system que to adjust /retract tunnel equipment prior to vehicle launch
• Effectively operate computerized tunnel equipment
• Guide guests onto the conveyor using approved hand signals
• Safely help guide guests at tunnel exit to enter detail service department or exit wash tunnel directly
• Maintain a clean work station and ensure tunnel bays are kept clean as dictated by standard operating procedure and/or Facility Manager
• Understand and deploy manual or emergency tunnel and gate procedures in the event of power loss or unforeseen event
• Perform visual inspections in the tunnel to ensure equipment is functioning properly
• Assist Facility Manager in performing regularly scheduled maintenance on all equipment including chemical maintenance
• Follow safety guidelines to promote a safe workplace for guests and team members
• Assist with housekeeping duties
• Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events
• Treat guests and fellow team members with honesty, integrity and commitment
• Adherence to our uniform and grooming standards
• Punctual, responsible and accountable

• Excellent and enthusiastic customer service skills to ensure optimum customer satisfaction
• Excellent oral communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
• Willingness to follow directions and correctly implement tasks
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and work outdoors throughout the year
• Ability to lift items of moderate weight
• Ability to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays
• Adaptability, multi-tasking and sound decision-making abilities are required and essential to the success of this role
• Willingness to comply with all company policies and uphold standards for service quality Working Conditions / Equipment Used
• Work outdoors in all seasons and types of weather
• Ability to quality inspect your work as well as that of other team members
• Constant standing, walking and bending; up to 4 consecutive hours of standing
