Duties Lead the recruitment process by interviewing candidates, conducting onboarding sessions, and selecting top talent to build a strong team. Supervise daily store operations including inventory management, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system oversight. Manage employee schedules, shift assignments, and ensure adequate coverage to meet store demands. Coach and develop team members through training & development initiatives, performance feedback, and recognition programs. Oversee merchandising efforts such as product placement, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maximize sales. Handle customer service issues promptly and professionally to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Monitor sales performance metrics, retail math calculations, and budgeting to meet or exceed store targets. Maintain organizational standards by supervising cashiering activities, inventory control, and store cleanliness. Implement marketing campaigns and promotional activities to boost foot traffic and sales growth. Ensure compliance with safety policies, payroll procedures, bookkeeping practices, and store policies. Experience Proven management experience in retail or a similar customer-focused environment with supervisory responsibilities. Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing techniques, and team management. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse customer bases. Demonstrated expertise in recruiting, training & development, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and inventory management. Familiarity with POS systems, purchasing procedures, retail math calculations, pricing strategies, and sales management tools. Experience supervising retail sales teams in grocery stores or general merchandise environments is preferred. Excellent communication skills coupled with organizational skills for effective shift management and staff coordination. Ability to handle cash handling procedures accurately while maintaining high standards of customer service etiquette.
