Responsibilities Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients in accordance with food handling standards. Support the kitchen team by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining and prep areas. Operate basic kitchen equipment safely, including dishwashers, sinks, and food prep tools. Handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy pots or boxes of supplies while adhering to proper manual handling techniques. Follow all sanitation protocols to ensure compliance with kitchen health and safety standards. Contribute to a clean and organized workspace by performing routine cleaning duties throughout the shift. Experience Prior food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued. Familiarity with food safety management practices and sanitation procedures is a plus.
