WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

The Full-Time Dishwasher who will be responsible for performing a variety of physical work involved in the cleaning and storage of kitchen equipment, utensils and dishes, maintain food preparation areas in a clean and sanitary manner. Washes and scrubs items as required, including pots and pans. Disposes of trash; cleans own work area and any other portions of kitchen as required.

WHAT TO BRING

Patience and understanding of seniors. Skill to follow basic written and verbal instructions. Physical skills to perform work that requires continual standing, walking and lifting up to 40 lbs. Previous experience in the kitchen of a commercial of institutional food service facility desirable.

REQUIREMENTS

Required to maintain confidentiality of information pertaining to staff and residents. Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations. Must meet health assessment requirements as regulated by the California Department of Social Services, including TB testing and fingerprint clearances required by California DSS/CCL. Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing sufficient to perform the tasks required.
