Cleaning offices and maintaining a clean work space. Note that this role requires working in shifts and, occasionally, during evenings or weekends. Reports to Food Service Manager.

Qualifications:

Previous work experience in food preparation and general kitchen operations. High school diploma, equivalent, or higher degree. Computer literate. Bilingual Spanish a plus. Must have Food Handler Certification. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service. Will have an understanding of menu planning, preparation and food storage. Familiar with chemical dependency treatment and recovery. Valid Driver's License, clean DMV and proof of automobile insurance. Current CPR and First Aid Certificates. Must pass criminal background check.

Duties:

Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas. Store and organize clean dishes appropriately. Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and request placement of orders when necessary Remove garbage regularly Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor Light cooking and food preparation duties Clean main lobby and offices. Monitor meal times. Attend all required agency staff and training meetings Adhere to policies and procedures regarding absences and tardiness Ensure the highest level of service is provided to the people we serve Maintain client confidentiality in compliance with federal guidelines, including HIPAA regulations Adhere to staff Codes of Ethics and Conduct All other duties deemed necessary and appropriate by management Maintain compassion, empathy, and professionalism toward clients; their family members and/or significant others at all times.
