Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup. Support bussing duties by clearing tables and transporting used dishes to the dishwashing area promptly. Adhere to all kitchen health and safety standards, including proper manual handling techniques and safe operation of kitchen machinery. Maintain organization of dishware storage areas, ensuring all items are stored safely and correctly after cleaning. Participate in routine sanitation inspections and ensure compliance with food safety management protocols. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation standards is advantageous. Basic understanding of kitchen equipment operation, including dishwashers and manual handling techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large pots or moving supplies. Experience with catering or banquet settings is a plus, demonstrating flexibility in fast-paced environments.
