Dishwasher/Food Prep Dunwell Catering Lauderhill, FL Job Details Part-time $15 - $17 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications Driver's License Full Job Description Dishwasher/Prep Dunwell Catering - South Florida Dunwell Catering is looking for a reliable, hardworking, organized Dishwasher/Prep team member. This is a hands-on position that includes dishwashing, cleaning, food prep, packing catering events, loading and unloading vehicles, organizing equipment and supplies, pickups/deliveries, and general kitchen support. We are looking for someone who can follow instructions carefully, work at a steady pace, stay organized, and think independently without needing to be told every small task. This is a good opportunity for someone who wants to learn and grow. The more capable, dependable, and interested you are in learning, the more opportunities there may be for additional hours and responsibilities. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Washing and sanitizing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, containers, and equipment Keeping the kitchen, dish area, storage areas, floors, worktables, and equipment clean and organized Cleaning throughout the shift instead of waiting until the end Assisting with food prep such as washing, cutting, chopping, measuring, portioning, packaging, and labeling Following recipes and preparation instructions Packing bins and supplies for upcoming catering events Following packing lists and double-checking quantities Organizing catering equipment, supplies, food, and storage areas Loading and unloading catering vans, trucks, and rental vehicles Unloading and reorganizing equipment after events Cleaning and returning equipment to the correct storage location Receiving and putting away deliveries Picking up food, equipment, or supplies when needed Picking up and returning U-Haul or other rental vehicles/equipment Making local deliveries or pickups as needed Reporting missing, damaged, or low-stock items Helping with other kitchen, catering, delivery, cleaning, or operational tasks as needed What We Are Looking For We want someone who is: Reliable and punctual Hardworking Detail-oriented Organized Able to follow detailed instructions Comfortable asking questions when something is unclear Able to work independently Able to problem-solve Able to recognize what needs to be done next Comfortable switching between different tasks Willing to help wherever needed Interested in learning new skills We need someone who can maintain a consistent work pace throughout the entire shift. Physical Requirements This position may require: Standing for extended periods Bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying Moving catering bins and equipment Loading and unloading vehicles Working in a commercial kitchen Lifting approximately 40-50 lbs when necessary Driving Requirements A valid driver's license is required. Depending on the schedule, the position may include: Local pickups and deliveries Driving cargo vans Picking up or returning rental vehicles such as U-Haul trucks Transporting catering equipment and supplies Having your own reliable vehicle is strongly preferred. Employment Requirements Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to provide required employment documentation if hired. Pay:
