Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Food Prep to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, chopping, and portioning ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques Support the kitchen team in meal assembly and basic cooking activities following safety standards in production Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to maintain food safety and prevent contamination Help with menu planning by preparing ingredients needed for daily service Maintain cleanliness of workstations, storage areas, and dishwashing stations throughout shifts Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, equipment use, and sanitation practices Skills Experience working in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is preferred Knowledge of food safety management and adherence to safety standards in production environments Previous food service or restaurant experience demonstrating familiarity with kitchen operations Strong food preparation skills including slicing, dicing, and basic cooking techniques Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent knife skills and slicing techniques for efficient ingredient prep Understanding of catering processes and serving procedures is a plus Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members Knowledge of food industry standards related to hygiene, safety, and quality assurance Join us in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment where great food begins!
