Duties Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and handling ingredients when needed Support bussing activities by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas remain clean and welcoming Follow strict sanitation protocols to maintain a hygienic kitchen environment, including proper manual handling of heavy items and safe disposal of waste Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and stored after use Adhere to all food safety management standards and health regulations to promote a safe dining environment Assist with general cleaning duties around the kitchen area to uphold sanitation and kitchen health and safety standards Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially with dishwashing or kitchen support roles Knowledge of dish washing, sanitation procedures, and kitchen cleaning with safety regulations is essential Ability to operate commercial dishwashing methods and basic kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and stand for extended periods during shifts Strong understanding of kitchen health and safety standards, including proper knife skills for handling utensils when necessary Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and supporting the culinary team Prefer who can work Weekdays evenings and weekends the whole days.
