+ Mash is looking for a dependable, hardworking Dishwasher to join our BOH team. This position plays an important role in keeping the kitchen clean, organized, stocked, and ready for service. We are looking for someone who works with urgency, takes pride in maintaining a clean workspace, and can stay organized in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment Keep the dish area clean, organized, and free of unnecessary buildup throughout the shift Properly store clean dishes and equipment in designated areas Maintain clean floors, walls, sinks, shelving, and surrounding work areas Empty trash and recycling and replace liners as needed Break down and dispose of cardboard properly Assist with general kitchen cleaning and sanitation Clean floor drains, mats, and other designated BOH areas as assigned Maintain appropriate sanitizer solutions and follow proper sanitation procedures Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing deliveries when needed Support cooks and kitchen leadership with basic cleaning or utility tasks as needed Complete assigned opening, closing, and weekly cleaning responsibilities Communicate with the Chef or Manager on Duty when supplies, chemicals, or equipment need attention Follow all food safety, workplace safety, and sanitation standards What We're Looking For Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work quickly while maintaining cleanliness and organization Ability to follow directions and complete assigned tasks without constant supervision Comfortable working in a busy, high-volume kitchen Positive attitude and willingness to help the team Previous restaurant or dishwashing experience is helpful but not required Physical Requirements Ability to stand and move for the duration of the shift Ability to frequently bend, reach, lift, and carry Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work around heat, steam, water, cleaning chemicals, and wet surfaces Ability to safely move racks, trash containers, pots, pans, and other restaurant equipment Schedule This position may include nights, weekends, and holidays based on restaurant needs.

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
