Duties Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using proper food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination Assist with food preparation tasks such as basic ingredient handling and setup to support kitchen staff Clear and bus tables promptly, ensuring the dining area remains tidy and inviting for guests Support kitchen staff by organizing supplies, restocking items, and handling manual tasks such as heavy lifting of dish racks or bulk supplies Follow all sanitation standards related to food safety management and kitchen health and safety protocols Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly, including dishwashers, sinks, and other necessary tools Maintain cleanliness of all work areas by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly to uphold sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
