Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and providing excellent food service to our guests. Duties Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all kitchen tools are organized and stored properly. Assist with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes to maintain a tidy dining area. Support food preparation by cleaning vegetables or assisting cooks as needed. Follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices. Help with inventory management by reporting any shortages or damaged items in the kitchen. Participate in maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness by sweeping and mopping floors as required. Requirements Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Knowledge of basic food handling practices is a plus. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds). A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
