Responsibilities Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently, ensuring all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen tools are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to food safety procedures. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting chefs and kitchen staff in maintaining an organized workspace. Clear and bus tables promptly to uphold cleanliness standards and provide a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Follow proper sanitation protocols to maintain kitchen health and safety standards, including handling cleaning chemicals safely. Support heavy lifting tasks such as moving supplies, bulk ingredients, or equipment to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area by sweeping, mopping, and trash removal to uphold sanitation standards. Operate basic kitchen equipment safely while adhering to food safety management practices. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential. Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation standards is highly desirable. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
