Duties Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure all items meet health standards Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping or portioning Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing areas, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces Support bussing duties by clearing tables and transporting used dishes to the dish area Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of large trays or bulk supplies safely and correctly Adhere to kitchen health and safety standards at all times to prevent accidents or contamination Skills Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation practices in a restaurant or hospitality environment Experience with dishwashing equipment operation and kitchen cleaning procedures Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and repetitive motions Basic food handling skills with an understanding of proper hygiene protocols Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as sinks, dishwashers, and cleaning tools Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards across all work areas Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to support food service staff during busy periods This role offers an energetic environment where your contributions directly impact the quality of service we provide.
