The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to cleanliness, and a willingness to assist with food preparation and kitchen maintenance. This role is vital in ensuring smooth kitchen functions and maintaining a hygienic environment for staff and patients alike. Duties Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently while adhering to sanitation standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning. Support catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies and ensuring timely service. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly. Help with bussing tables and clearing plates during meal service to facilitate smooth dining operations. Follow all food handling safety protocols to prevent contamination or spoilage. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure an organized, safe, and efficient work environment. Experience Previous experience in food service, catering, or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with food handling procedures and sanitation practices is advantageous. Experience working in banquet or hotel settings can be beneficial. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy trays or standing for extended periods. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary staff and hospitality operations.
