Job Description

Grand Traverse Area Catholic Schools is seeking a dependable and team-oriented Cafeteria Dishwasher to support our Immaculate Conception Elementary School kitchen operations. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient food service environment for students and staff.

Wash and sanitize dishes, trays, utensils, and kitchen tools using a commercial dish machine
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas
Assist with general kitchen cleaning duties
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Support cafeteria staff with basic kitchen tasks, including serving pre-Kindergarten students in classrooms
Provide friendly, respectful service to students and staff
Ensure compliance with regulations
Support special events, feast days, or themed meal days, as needed
