Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable, hard-working Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of our dishes, cookware, and kitchen workstations. A smooth-running kitchen starts in the dish pit, and your work will directly impact the speed and quality of our service. This is an excellent entry-level position with opportunities to learn culinary skills and grow into a prep cook or line cook role. What You'll Do (Responsibilities): Wash and sanitize all plates, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using our commercial dishwasher and three-compartment sink. Carefully and quickly unload clean items and restock them in their proper storage areas and cook lines. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dishwashing station throughout your shift. Sweep and mop kitchen floors, wipe down counters, and clean kitchen equipment as needed. Empty trash cans, compost, and recycling bins, replacing liners regularly. Assist the culinary team with basic food preparation (e.g., peeling vegetables, portioning) and unloading inventory deliveries during slower periods. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
