Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and reliable Dishwasher/Food Prep team member to join our busy kitchen. In this role, you'll be essential in keeping the kitchen running smoothly by handling dishwashing, food preparation, and sanitation tasks. Responsibilities Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following proper sanitation procedures. Assist with basic food preparation tasks to support the culinary team, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning. Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for guests. Follow food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures to uphold health standards. Support heavy lifting needs such as moving supplies, ingredients, or equipment safely. Operate kitchen equipment responsibly, including dishwashers and food prep tools. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by adhering to sanitation and health standards throughout your shift. Qualifications Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is a plus but not required—training will be provided! Knowledge of food safety procedures and sanitation practices is highly desirable. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently. Familiarity with operating basic kitchen equipment and dishwashing machines preferred. Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the kitchen environment. Willingness to learn new skills related to food handling, prep, and sanitation procedures. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts.
