You will be the backbone of our food service operation, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are sanitized and ready for use. Responsibilities Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools following food safety sanitizing procedures. Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste properly. Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas are tidy for guests. Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly, including dishwashers and manual handling tools. Follow all kitchen health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment for everyone. Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving supplies or bulk items while adhering to proper manual handling techniques. Qualifications Previous food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures is a plus. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting heavy items regularly.
