Position Summary:

The dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods.

Major Responsibilities:

Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, tableware, and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine. Sort and stack clean dishes, glassware, tableware, and other cooking utensils in the proper storage area. Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand. Must be comfortable utilizing the 3-sink washing method Assemble, clean, and disassemble dish machine. Remove trash and garbage to dumpster. Setup, clean, and/or break down dishwashing area. General cleaning of food service area as directed.

Essential Requirements:

At least 1 year of dishwashing experience Morning shift availability required. Ability to stand, walk, and bend for entire shift Able to lift/carry 40+ lbs of dishes, glassware, and utensils Knowledge of sanitation, safety, and proper chemical handling Strong attention to cleanliness Strong customer service skills

Pay:

From $16.00 per hour
