We are seeking an experienced Dishwasher to join our team.
You'll be a core part of a kitchen team that takes pride in getting every detail right. Why this Role Matters A clean, organized kitchen is the foundation everything else at eventfullnyc is built on. Our chefs can't plate a flawless event, and our food can't leave the kitchen safe and on time, without a dish and kitchen support team keeping the operation moving. This role isn't in the background of what we do; it's what makes the rest of it possible. Responsibilities Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and catering equipment by hand and machine Keep the dish station and warewashing area clean, stocked, and organized throughout the shift Dry, sort, and return clean equipment to its proper place so it's ready when the team needs it Rinse and pre-treat heavily soiled pots, pans, and catering trays Empty trash and recycling and keep the kitchen sanitary and up to health code Receive deliveries and put away stock and supplies Help with kitchen setup, breakdown, and deep cleaning between event pushes Skills & Requirements Reliable and punctual, with availability for nights and weekends around the event schedule Able to work quickly and stay organized in a fast-paced kitchen Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable with repetitive physical work in a busy environment Works well as part of a team and takes direction well Prior kitchen or dish experience required EventfullNYC is an equal opportunity employer.
