You will be responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, supporting the overall food preparation and service process. This position offers an energetic work atmosphere where every task contributes directly to the success of our restaurant operations. Responsibilities Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to efficiently clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools. Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure all items meet health regulations and sanitation standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, including organizing supplies and handling ingredients safely. Support bussing duties by clearing tables and transporting used dishware to the dishwashing station promptly. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by regularly cleaning workstations, floors, sinks, and storage areas. Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, pans, and boxes safely according to kitchen health and safety standards. Support food handling procedures by ensuring all items are stored properly and sanitized before use. Experience Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food safety management practices and sanitation protocols is advantageous. Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as commercial dishwashers and cleaning tools confidently. Knowledge of basic knife skills and food handling procedures is a plus. Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks throughout shifts. Demonstrated understanding of kitchen health and safety standards to maintain a safe working environment. Pay:
$16.00 - $19.50 per hour
