Responsibilities Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen tools Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to maintain hygiene standards across all surfaces and items Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and handling ingredients safely Support the bussing team by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas remain tidy and welcoming Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, trays, and dishware safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, floors, and storage spaces Adhere to all kitchen health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment for everyone Skills Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation procedures Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including lifting heavy items Basic understanding of operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers and sanitizing stations Strong attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation practices Good communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively Experience in food service or restaurant environments is a plus but not required Familiarity with kitchen health and safety standards related to food handling and sanitation Join us in creating an exceptional dining experience by supporting our kitchen's cleanliness and efficiency.
