Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and safety guidelines Operate kitchen equipment such as Dishwasher, ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with food safety management standards Assist in menu planning and ingredient preparation to support smooth kitchen operations Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety of all dishes served Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and delivery times Support meal preparation for catering events or special functions as needed Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or culinary environments is highly preferred Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and food preparation methods Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment and adhering to safety standards in production Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in dish presentation Understanding of food safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen environment Experience with catering or large-scale meal preparation is advantageous Embark on a rewarding culinary journey with us!
