• We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage customer inquiries will be key in creating a positive shopping experience.
• Duties
• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
• Operate cash registers, process transactions accurately, and handle cash with care.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to provide informed assistance.
• Manage stock levels by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise as needed.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
• Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and register operations.
• Assist in training new staff members on customer service best practices and cash register operations.
• Qualifications
• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong cash handling skills and familiarity with cash registers.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
• Experience in supervising or training staff is advantageous.
• A positive attitude and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
