Duties Thoroughly wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following safety standards in production and food handling protocols Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as slicing, chopping, and assembling ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sanitizing work surfaces, sinks, and storage areas regularly Operate kitchen equipment safely, including dishwashers, slicers, mixers, and other culinary tools in accordance with safety standards in the food industry Support meal preparation by organizing ingredients, portioning items according to recipes, and adhering to menu planning guidelines Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate cleaning schedules and food prep tasks efficiently Follow all food safety management practices to ensure hygiene standards are maintained at all times Experience Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly preferred Experience working in a restaurant or food service environment demonstrating knowledge of food handling and safety standards Familiarity with menu planning, recipe adherence, and catering operations is advantageous Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff Culinary experience including knife skills, slicing techniques, and meal preparation methods is beneficial Knowledge of operating kitchen equipment safely and maintaining cleanliness standards in a fast-paced setting Prior food industry or catering experience that highlights your ability to work efficiently while maintaining high safety standards Join us in delivering exceptional food experiences!
