Duties Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools efficiently and safely Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup Support bussing duties by clearing tables, removing trash, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of large pots, trays, or boxes of supplies with proper technique Maintain sanitation standards by regularly cleaning kitchen surfaces, sinks, and storage areas Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely and responsibly while adhering to health and safety standards Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with food handling, sanitation practices, and kitchen safety standards is advantageous Ability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting heavy items safely Knowledge of food safety management principles and proper dishwashing procedures is a plus Experience with banquet or large-scale food service operations can be beneficial Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in a fast-paced setting Enthusiasm for working within a team-oriented hospitality environment with a focus on customer satisfaction Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering excellent service while upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
