Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Dishwasher/Busser, where your energy and attention to cleanliness will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences. In this lively and fast-paced role, you'll ensure the kitchen remains spotless, organized, and compliant with food safety standards while supporting the front-of-house team by maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Your proactive approach and dedication will help keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Thoroughly wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup to support our front of house. Clear and bus tables promptly, ensuring a clean and inviting dining area for guests Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly, including dishwashers, sinks, and other cleaning tools Maintain high standards of sanitation by cleaning workstations, floors, and storage areas regularly in accordance with kitchen health and safety standards Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies or equipment with proper technique to prevent injury Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation procedures is highly desirable Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers or cleaning machinery is a plus Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards across all areas of the kitchen and dining space Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers Ability to stand for extended periods, perform physical tasks regularly, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
