Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, chopping, and portioning ingredients following established recipes and safety protocols. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including dishwashers, slicers, mixers, and ovens. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, floors, and storage areas through regular cleaning routines to meet health regulations. Follow food safety guidelines for handling raw ingredients and cooked foods to prevent contamination. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication during busy service times and support overall kitchen operations. Skills Strong understanding of safety standards in food production and food handling practices is essential. Proficiency in operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, slicers, and cooking appliances is preferred. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with kitchen staff and ensuring efficient workflow. Basic knife skills including slicing techniques contribute to accurate ingredient preparation.
