The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas. This position is essential for ensuring that our food service operations run smoothly, allowing our chefs and servers to focus on providing exceptional dining experiences. Full time position! Tuesdays-Saturdays, sunday & mondays off. Family restaurant. Duties Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, utensils, and kitchenware efficiently. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by regularly cleaning floors, counters, and equipment. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing and chopping vegetables. Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for service. Buss tables after guests have finished dining to ensure a tidy environment for incoming guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an organized workspace, ensuring all items are stored properly. Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards in all cleaning and food handling processes. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and culinary operations is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in food preparation, cooking, or catering is beneficial for this role. A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team in the hospitality industry. Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods while performing duties.
