Duties Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to support seamless food service operations Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of dish racks and kitchen supplies with proper technique to prevent injury Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all surfaces meet hygiene standards Support food handling and basic food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff Follow food safety management protocols to uphold sanitation standards across the restaurant or catering venue Contribute to overall kitchen cleanliness through regular cleaning routines and adherence to health regulations Skills Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment, with knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and dishwashing techniques Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling practices Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and repetitive motions Familiarity with bussing, cleaning, and basic food preparation processes in a busy kitchen setting Excellent organizational skills to manage dishwashing stations efficiently during peak hours Knife skills or culinary experience are a plus for supporting food prep activities when needed Experience in banquet or catering environments is advantageous for supporting large-scale events This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a vibrant hospitality team.
