We currently offer takeout, delivery, and dine-in service. We may be starting in a small kitchen, but we have much bigger plans for Charim. Our owner and chef both spent many years working in Michelin-rated restaurants in New York, and we are bringing that experience, discipline, and attention to quality into building Charim from the ground up. Our long-term goal is to grow Charim into a full-service Korean restaurant, and we are looking for someone who would like to grow with us along the way.
Position:
Prep Cook / Dishwasher We are looking for a reliable and hardworking team member to help with daily kitchen preparation, dishwashing, and general kitchen operations.
Responsibilities include:
Basic food and ingredient preparation Washing, cutting, and organizing vegetables and other ingredients Assisting with daily prep for Korean dishes and banchan Dishwashing and maintaining the dish area Keeping prep and kitchen areas clean and organized Properly storing and rotating ingredients Assisting the chef and kitchen team as needed Following food safety and sanitation standards
What We're Looking For:
Reliable, punctual, and responsible Positive attitude and willingness to learn Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen Able to keep a clean and organized workspace Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but not required Interest in Korean food or professional cooking is a plus Because Charim is still a young restaurant, we are especially interested in finding someone who wants more than just a temporary job. If you are interested in learning, improving your kitchen skills, taking on more responsibility over time, and growing with a restaurant from its early stages, we would love to meet you. As Charim grows, we hope to create more opportunities for the people who helped us build it from the beginning.
