Duties Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with attention to recipe adherence, food safety standards, and presentation quality Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, poaching stations, braising pots, and food production machinery safely and efficiently Assist in menu planning by preparing ingredients for upcoming meals and ensuring proper portioning Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes, sanitizing kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment according to food safety sanitizing procedures Support high-volume food production during busy service times while maintaining quality standards Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and freshness Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing with knife skills, and assembling meals for catering or regular service Requirements Previous experience in dietary aide roles or dietary department experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Demonstrated ability in food preparation techniques including grilling, braising, poaching, and general cooking skills Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures to prevent contamination Experience in restaurant or food service environments with high-volume production is advantageous Strong knife skills and understanding of recipe adherence are highly desirable Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic setting Join us in delivering exceptional meal experiences!
