Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools promptly after use to ensure readiness for next service. Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting the culinary team in maintaining smooth kitchen operations. Buse tables and clear dining areas to facilitate quick turnaround times during busy service periods. Handle manual lifting of heavy kitchenware and supplies safely in accordance with health and safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and storage spaces by following strict sanitation protocols. Support the team in operating kitchen equipment safely and responsibly while adhering to food handling regulations. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation practices is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently. Familiarity with kitchen health and safety standards, including proper knife skills and food handling procedures. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting busy restaurant operations. Basic understanding of operating commercial dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment is a plus.
