Job Description

Starting Pay Range:
$16 to $17 Depending on
Experience Full Benefit Package:

Shift Requirement:
Morning, opening shifts with some flexibility for closing shifts. One weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) is required each week. If you're available both Saturday and Sunday—even better! Please note that holidays and the summer season are our busiest times, so we do need advance planning and a strong commitment during these peak periods. think outside the box to creatively solve problems Brighter side: always be positive The Prep Foods department is one of the biggest parts of WFM's success. That credit belongs to everyone from our Culinary Director to our dishwashers. Though they are entry-level, our dishwashers keep our kitchen humming like a well-oiled machine. They are incredibly important to the operation. Without great ones, our kitchen grinds to a halt. These are your five roles (the five most critical things you will do on a daily basis): Your Five Roles 1. Extra-mile service 2. Maintain a clean and sanitized environment 3. Run and maintain dish machine (if available) 4. Hand-wash large items in triple sink 5. Keep kitchen hardware organized What you'll be doing: Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks. Receive and store supplies Wash dishes, pots, and pans, using dishwashers or by hand Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas Clean or prepare various foods for cooking or serving Sort and remove trash and recycling, placing it in designated pickup areas Clean garbage cans Sweep and scrub floors Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition Safely operate commercial dishwasher. Maintain the highest standards of safety and sanitation
Requirements:
Frequently raise or lower objects up to 40 pounds from one level to another regularly Remain on feet in upright position for continuous periods of time Walk throughout store, including to other buildings and outdoor areas Exerting force on a regular basis so object is moved to or from team member Carrying objects up to 40 pounds on a regular basis Grasping and/or picking up objects Regularly reaching for objects Bending forward by bending at waist or bending legs and spine What you'll need to
