Coop's Pizza is looking for a dependable, hardworking Dishwasher / Food Prep team member to help keep our kitchen clean, organized, stocked, and running smoothly. This position is an important part of our kitchen team and is ideal for someone who works efficiently, takes pride in cleanliness, and is willing to help wherever needed. Responsibilities Wash, sanitize, stock, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment. Set up and maintain dishwashing stations, including the dish machine and sinks. Keep the dish area clean, organized, and free of clutter. Maintain clean, dry, and safe floors throughout each shift. Follow all sanitation, food-safety, and cleaning procedures. Ensure the dish machine and related equipment are working properly and promptly report any problems. Monitor trash and recycling throughout the shift, removing full bags, boxes, and other waste as needed. Empty trash, dispose of boxes, and thoroughly clean the dish area at the end of each shift. Clean and sanitize storage areas, including refrigerators and freezers. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dry-storage area and storage shelves. Assist with receiving and properly storing food and supply deliveries. Complete assigned food-preparation tasks safely and efficiently. Assist cooks and kitchen managers with food prep and other kitchen duties as requested. Help with closing responsibilities, including cleaning and sanitizing cooking and food-preparation stations. Follow instructions from cooks, kitchen managers, and members of the leadership team. Complete other duties as assigned to support the kitchen and restaurant. Qualifications Dependable and able to work as part of a team. Able to follow instructions and established cleaning and sanitation procedures. Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and food safety. Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Willing to assist with a variety of cleaning, food-preparation, and kitchen-support duties. Previous restaurant or dishwashing experience is helpful but not required—we are willing to train the right person. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and move throughout the shift. Ability to bend, reach, lift, carry, and safely store kitchen supplies. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to work around heat, steam, water, cleaning products, and refrigerated or freezer areas. Ability to work safely on wet or potentially slippery surfaces.

Pay:

$12.00 - $14.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 20.0 per week
