Duties Prepare ingredients to support daily operation. Cook a variety of dishes with precision, including grilling, poaching, and food production tasks Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to ensure optimal food preparation Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitizing procedures throughout all kitchen areas Handle food with care, adhering strictly to food handling and safety regulations Assist with dishwashing duties, ensuring all cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools are sanitized and ready for use Contribute to a clean and organized kitchen environment that promotes efficiency and safety Keep a respectful and responsible attitude, and communicate when needed. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, although not required Knowledge of food industry standards including food safety management and sanitizing procedures, or be willing to learn. Skills in culinary techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and knife handling Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and effectively Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward supporting the kitchen staff
