Job Description
Pro Shop Attendant La Cañada Flintridge Country Club La Cañada Flintridge Country Club is seeking a friendly and dependable Pro Shop Attendant to join our Golf Operations team. This role will assist with daily Pro Shop operations and will be cross-trained to support outside services when needed . The position plays an important role in providing excellent service to our golf members and guests. Position Details
- Approximately 35 hours per week
- Open availability required
- Weekend availability required
- Days and hours of work vary based on schedule and business needs Primary Responsibilities
- Provide excellent guest service to all members and visitors
- Meet and greet golfers upon arrival
- Oversee and assist with management of reservations
- Assist golf members and guests with Pro Shop needs
- Answer telephones in a polite and professional manner
- Serve as a source of information for members and guests regarding golf operations
- Operate the register and handle cashier and retail sales
- Assist with inventory, merchandising, member correspondence, and Pro Shop organization
- Help maintain and upkeep of golf carts and related equipment
- Assist with outside services when needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by management Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, professional, and dependable
- Retail and Point-of-Sale (POS) experience preferred - Previous Golf Industry a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends Bilingual preferred (English and Korean)
- Basic computer proficiency required, including familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to:
- Stand for extended periods of time
- Walk, balance, climb, reach, stoop, and kneel
- Use hands and fingers for handling equipment and transactions
- Push or pull carts and equipment
- Lift up to 25 lbs
