Job Overview Position Summary The Outside Services Golf Attendant is responsible for providing friendly, professional service to members and guests while supporting the daily operations of the golf course, golf cart fleet, and driving range. This position assists guests with golf bags and carts, maintains the driving range and cart operations, and helps ensure all outside areas are clean, organized, and ready for daily play. Essential Job Functions

• Move golf carts from the cart storage area to the designated cart staging area.
• Greet members and guests at the designated bag drop area and assist with loading golf bags onto golf carts.
• Provide courteous assistance and directions to the golf shop, first tee, driving range, clubhouse, and other club facilities.
• Operate the range ball picker to collect golf balls from the driving range.
• Wash and clean range balls as required.
• Return golf carts to the cart storage area at the end of use.
• Clean golf carts using pressure-washing equipment and park carts in designated spaces.
• Check and refuel golf carts as necessary.
• Maintain clean and organized cart staging, cart storage, and driving range areas.
• Collect trash and litter and empty trash receptacles around the clubhouse, driving range, cart storage area, and other designated areas.
• Follow all club safety procedures and operational standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management. Customer Service Responsibilities
• Provide friendly, professional, and courteous service to all members and guests.
• Communicate effectively with members, guests, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Maintain a positive and professional appearance and attitude while representing Bay City Country Club.
• Respond to guest requests and questions in a helpful and respectful manner.
• Work cooperatively with other members of the golf operations team.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions This position requires frequent outdoor work and exposure to varying weather conditions.

The job requires:

• Operating golf carts and other equipment.
• Long periods of standing and frequent walking.
• Repeated bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, and reaching.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of golf bags, equipment, and supplies.
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 49 pounds.
• Ability to safely perform physical duties associated with golf course and outside services operations. Required Qualifications
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to safely operate a golf cart.
• Ability to communicate effectively with members, guests, and coworkers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required by the golf season.

Pay:

$12.00 - $18.00 per hour
