Golf Pro Shop Attendant

Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Golf Professional or designated supervisor, complete assigned tasks related to the daily operations of the Mandan Park District Golf Courses clubhouses and related facilities. Must be age 21+.
WORK HOURS
Mon-Sun, Shifts up to 8 hours between 6am and 10pm. Weekend shifts are required. May be required to work holidays. Schedule may change based on tournaments & important events. Nights and weekend only scheduling may be possible.
WORK DURATION
Starting August 1st through the end of the season.
MAJOR DUTIES
Managing and overseeing tee sheet and point of sale operations. Responsible for till count at open, shift change, and closing counts. Responsible for day-to-day operations of golf course, driving range and retail functions of facility. Ability to park, organize, and clean golf cart fleet daily. Stock and organize food and beverage products. Maintain cleanliness throughout facility, inside clubhouse and outside on the golf course and practice facility. Expected to work shifts during early mornings, days, and evenings and to also include weekends and holidays. Punctual with work attendance and time off requests.
Follow dress code:
Golf Attire or Business Casual.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The work is typically performed while sitting, standing, walking, bending, or crouching. The employee occasionally lifts light and heavy objects.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work is typically performed either in the clubhouse or outdoors, occasionally in cold or inclement weather. Must be age 21+ Basic understanding of the game of golf, pace of play, and proper course maintenance. Verbal and written communication skills. Proficient ability with computers; knowledge and operation of Microsoft Office or other applicable software/applications. Able to work independently and as a member of a team. Valid driver's license. All candidates are subject to a background check and drug/alcohol screening.
