Job Description

Performance-based Ushers are needed for
NJPAC 2024-2025
Season (weekly hours worked vary). Ushers will be scheduled according to availability and performance calendar. This position is a Union job.
Responsibilities:
 Must be friendly, polite and enthusiastic.  Assist with special requests as needed.  Assist patrons by scanning tickets, greeting and escorting patrons to their seats, distributing programs, and attending to guests with special needs
Qualifications and Special Requirements:
 High school diploma or equivalent preferred.  Weekend availability is required, Sunday is a mandatory workday.  Daytime and/or Open availability is a plus.  Experience in guest/customer service or hotel/hospitality industry.  Experience with guest accessibility or cash handling is a plus.  Ability to anticipate and fulfill the needs and concerns of guests.  Possess a sensitive, friendly, engaging personality, and professional demeanor.  Must be able to stand for long periods of time.  Must not be afraid of heights.
