POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the day-to-day operations and guest services of the Municipal Three-Hole Golf Course, Tennis Courts, and Platform Tennis Facilities. The Tennis/Golf Attendant works under the supervision of the Community Programs Coordinator.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Adhere to and uphold all policies and procedures governing the Tennis & Golf Administration Building, Three-Hole Golf Course, Tennis Courts and Platform Tennis Building and Courts Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude by following established dress standards appropriate for both office and outdoor work environments. Be present and available throughout the entire scheduled shift to assist guests. Communicate professionally with other Township departments, Tennis professionals, guests and participants. Assist with scheduling and the informational and operational needs of guests and tennis professionals. Complete opening and closing procedures as assigned. Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain files as instructed. Process payments and inspect and secure facilities as required each day.
QUALIFICATIONS
Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must be at least age 16. Ability to provide courteous and professional customer service to the public. Ability to work independently in a single-person office while remaining organized, dependable, and resourceful. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with tennis professionals, guests, colleagues, and other Township departments such as Public Works and IT Must obtain and maintain FBI, Child Abuse and Criminal History clearances. Ability to communicate effectively in the English language, both verbally and in writing. Ability to respond appropriately during emergency situations. Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries and balance work responsibilities effectively. Education and Experience Basic writing and math skills for record keeping. Familiarity with tennis and golf is preferred but not required.
EQUIPMENT USED
Telephone, iPad, computer, and other office equipment necessary for overseeing the administration building, tennis court, platform tennis and golf course.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
