Job Description
Golf Shop Attendant Cleveland Country Club | Cleveland, TN Position Summary Cleveland Country Club is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Golf Shop Attendant to join our team. The Golf Shop Attendant plays a key role in delivering an exceptional member and guest experience by providing outstanding customer service, supporting daily golf operations, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in the golf shop. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greet members and guests in a professional and courteous manner. Manage tee times, golfer check-ins, and daily play schedules. Answer phone calls and assist with golf-related inquiries. Process merchandise sales, green fees, cart fees, and other transactions through the point-of-sale system. Assist with inventory management, merchandising displays, and stocking golf shop merchandise. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the golf shop and surrounding areas. Communicate effectively with golf professionals, outside services staff, and clubhouse personnel. Assist with tournaments, golf events, and member outings. Ensure members and guests receive prompt and exceptional service at all times. Perform other duties as assigned by the Golf Professional Staff or General Manager. Qualifications Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, or golf course experience preferred. Knowledge of golf and golf etiquette is a plus but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic computer and cash handling skills. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Ability to move throughout the golf shop and clubhouse facilities as needed. Benefits Competitive hourly pay.
