Fitness Floor Attendant - PT Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Recreation District - 5.0 Bainbridge Island, WA Job Details Part-time $20.05 - $27.75 an hour 2 days ago Benefits Paid sick time Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Description The Fitness Floor Attendant is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for members and guests. This position is responsible for daily facility setup, cleanliness, and the general appearance of fitness and recreation spaces. Additionally, this position will complete other job duties as assigned. Examples of Duties Sweep and maintain tennis courts to ensure a clean and safe playing surface. Sweep and clean gymnasium floors. Check and restock paper products throughout the facility, including restrooms and common areas. Prepare the fitness floor for opening by: Ensuring equipment is in the proper location. Filling and placing cleaning spray bottles in designated areas. Confirming the fitness area is clean, organized, and ready for members. Clean and inspect locker rooms to ensure they are sanitary, stocked, and ready for use. Report maintenance or safety concerns to management. Assist with other facility cleaning and operational duties as assigned. Typical Qualifications One-year experience in customer service or custodial work High school diploma or equivalent Must be at least 18 years of age Supplemental Information Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Dependable, punctual, and customer-service oriented Ability to work independently and follow verbal and written instructions. Ensure completion of daily task lists Ability to work safely in indoor environments Work Environment and Physical Effort This is a non-smoking work environment. Work is performed in indoor settings and includes mornings, evenings, and weekends. The physical demands described are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of the job.
